What's a Permablitz?!
A Permablitz is what happens when a large group of people visit a project and help them blitz through a stack of jobs that have been difficult to tick off the list, and/or required more people power than is available to the project.
Many hands might light (and joyful) work!

Rain water harvesting
Simple wood work: Compost bays / Raised beds / Seating / Fencing
Digging / Planting / Sowing / Harvesting / Mulching /
Sign making
Creating wildlife habitats / Pond Building
Sweeping / Raking / Weeding
Moving large items / or large amounts of things (e.g. big piles of compost)

If your site is chosen we will arrange a pre-visit to the site to assess the most valuable jobs that can be accomplished within the time, skill-set, and people power available / the materials & tools that will be needed / talk through the logistics of setting up for the day.
On the day we bring up to 30 x PSC students, a course facilitator, and two Tutors / Practitioners = people power!
We will be on site from 8.30-5.00; to set-up/pack-down. The permablitz happens between 9.30-4.30.

£200 for materials / tools that go towards supporting the permablitz.
An event shelter, in case of bad weather
Tea & Coffee for students
Some tools (such as gloves, secateurs, saws etc)
Skilled facilitators and tutors / practitioners - to help support and guide students in their tasks
Risk Assessment & PLI cover for the activities
Possibly cake...

Agreement to work within the parameters of our Risk Assessments.
Hot water for beverages (if possible)
Shelter (if possible)
A list of diverse jobs that need doing - there must be enough to keep up to 30 people occupied for the day, and there must be enough diversity that there are jobs available for all accessibility levels (e.g. some that are less physically demanding, and which make it a fun and educational day)
2 people from the project available on the day to help support students and the teaching team in the blitz
A talk/tour of your work/project would also be great!

Access to a toilet
Access to indoor shelter or be large enough to erect an events shelter for tea/lunch breaks
On site / nearby parking
Must be accessible to those with less physical ability (e.g. not on a steep incline or a very uneven terrain)
