Request a concession

When requesting a concessionary place please tell us about your household circumstances and how they affect your income and ability to pay for course fees.

Part Concession

• low waged i.e. household income of less than £18k pa at time of application

You will be asked to provide your last three payslips or bank statements as proof of household income.

Full Concession -

Full concessions are for applicants who are low waged and their earning potential is limited by their additional circumstances. E.g. if you are;

• A lone parent
• A carer
• Receive benefits due to a mental or physical disability, or chronic health conditions

You will be asked to provide evidence of benefits, as proof of circumstances.This can include a screenhsot of your award certificate.

We are aware that providing evidence is often a stressful and challenging experience for those who have to do this often, for outside agencies such as Universal Credit or when making a PIP claim. We aim to make the application process as smooth as possible for you, and require very minimal details. Please email evidence to laura@shiftbristol.org.uk

Concessions are Limited

Shift Bristol CIC is a not for profit organisation committed to providing affordable training.

Concession places are limited and we receive no external subsidies for concessions. Please only request a place if you need it.

Priority will be given to people with a record of volunteering or other activity demonstrating community improvement.

If your request is successful, we will inform you when confirming your place.
